mean heavy. It remains in Greek as Bápio. What does that mean?
Putting it together in Βάριο (Barium):
Β (house/chamber)
A vessel or matrix—a “place” or structure where transformation can occur.
Α (breath/origin)
The animating force or spirit entering the chamber is the beginning of transmutation.
Ρ (flow/spiral/transmission)
The energy or current that circulates within the chamber—motion, resonance, or the alchemical process itself.

The stabilising principle, the centre that holds the transformation
steady, the “philosopher’s axis” or the singularity around which change
